While Most Cities Are Trying To Build Startup Ecosystems, Chicago Introduces A 'Cloud Tax'

Startup culture has been hot for a while, with cities all over the world looking to beef up their tech cred to follow in the footsteps of Silicon Valley. Which is why it’s surprising that Chicago – already a tech center of some repute (think Avant, GroupOn, Enova and Orbitz) – has decided to slap a 9% tax on companies that stream entertainment and the people who use it.
