Game 1 Of World Series Broadcast Interrupted By Outage

The first game of the World Series between the Kansas City Royals and the New York Mets was briefly interrupted on Tuesday when Fox's broadcast went down during the bottom of the fourth inning.

After several minutes of waiting...

And more waiting...

... the feed picked up again. Hooray!

Sports Illustrated reported that the Fox broadcast truck lost power in Kansas City.

Coincidentally around 7 p.m., Kansas City viewers were hit with TV and Internet outages due to technical difficulties with Google Fiber -- right before the game began.
